Orbeenest

Learning scope & evidence.

Orbeenest is an independent resource using Cambridge Primary Mathematics (0096) as a curriculum reference. It is not endorsed or certified by Cambridge.

Objective codes and topic labels were cross-checked in Cambridge-authored framework copies (v2.0 and a mirrored v2.1). The current school-only progression grid was unavailable. These concise descriptions are Orbeenest working labels, not the complete official objectives. Confirm the current edition with your school before treating this as a formal curriculum map.

What the indicators mean

Coverage describes the learning resource; mastery describes only a child's local practice. “Secure in these checks” needs at least three distinct question contents, at least 80% first-try success and a correct item above starter difficulty, across the latest eight checks. Repeated content and corrected retries do not add first-try evidence. These are internal rules, not Cambridge grades. An objective with too little evidence stays developing.

Stage boundaries & enrichment

Decimals and prime/composite numbers are Stage 5 core. Stage 4 includes negative integers and percentage notation. Existing general simplification and two-decimal rounding lessons remain available as enrichment. Protractor measurement, rotational symmetry and volume/surface-area study are later-stage work, not Stage 4–5 core coverage claims.
